Chelmsford Parent Teacher Organizations
| Each of the eight (8) Chelmsford Public Schools maintains a strong partnership with its own Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO). These PTOs are volunteer-driven, nonprofit entities composed of caregivers, educators, and administrators who collaborate to enrich the educational experience of all students. Through ongoing fundraising efforts, the PTOs provide vital support for enrichment programs, field trips, classroom resources, equipment, and cultural arts initiatives — supplementing what is covered by the CPS district budget. | |
| The success of these programs and events is made possible by the dedication of numerous caregiver and community volunteers who generously contribute their time and talents. | |
| Collectively, the eight (8) PTOs form the Chelmsford Council of Schools (CoCS), a nonprofit umbrella organization. The CoCS serves as a collaborative forum where PTO members exchange ideas, coordinate efforts, and promote consistency and cost-efficiency across the district. In addition to supporting individual PTOs, the CoCS also funds community-wide enrichment programs designed to benefit all Chelmsford Public School families. |
