When: May 13, 14, 27 & 28, 2026

We will be attending a public museum.  Students should dress respectfully.  It is preferred that students wear jeans or nice pants with a sweater or nice top.  Students should not wear sweatpants, pajama pants, slippers, or ripped jeans.  Students should follow the dress code in the Student Handbook when deciding on an outfit for the event.  Your student has been made aware of the expectations for behavior and dress for this event.

Please remind your student that they will be representing McCarthy Middle School during this outing.  That being said, they should be on their best behavior.  No yelling, running or inappropriate language will be tolerated.  They should practice common theatre etiquette such as not talking during the show, no phones, and keeping their feet on the ground.  Dr. Parks will be talking with the students about expectations during the field trip to make sure everyone is safe and has fun.

Students may bring their backpacks to school with them in the morning.  They will leave their backpacks in their locker for the field trip.  They should not bring their phones, water bottles, or a snack on the field trip per the permission slip signed.
