SHOWBOAT 2026 is coming!
Are you a 7th or 8th grader at McCarthy with a special talent?
We're looking for musicians, singers, dancers, rappers, magicians, comedians, and more!!! Get your friends together and come up with an act or perform a solo act. We need 8th grade EMCEES too!

Auditions will take place in the McCarthy Music Wing after school.
There will be a MANDATORY dress rehearsal for the show on Thursday, May 14th!
The show will take place at the CHS PAC on Saturday, May 16th:
5:00-6:30pm will be acts with 5th and 6th graders
7:00-8:30pm will be acts featuring 7th and 8th graders
*Acts that have students from multiple grades will be placed in one time slot or the other.
- - SHOWBOAT String Orchestra playing Golden (5th-8th + CHS mentors) - no audition required for this
- - Yes you can do both an act/EMCEE & the orchestra but you will have 3-4 extra rehearsals
- - Group acts are HIGHLY encouraged - singers, instrumental groups, skits, etc.! Multi-age/grade!!!
